Opus Residence Hall
The Catholic University of America, Washington, District of Columbia Opus Hall is the anchoring building of the new residential precinct on campus. The first of three phases of new student housing at Catholic University, Opus Hall houses 402 students in a suite-style environment. The project came on line in 2008 featuring five person suites, floor lounges, a coffee shop/deli and indoor bicycle storage. The project achieved LEED Silver Certification by using R26 precast sandwich panels for the walls; energy-efficient lighting, appliances and equipment and by developing a storm water management system.
