Ireland's Great Hunger Museum Renovation
Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Connecticut Originally used as Hamden's first public library, the late nineteenth century building underwent significant renovation to become the new home for Ireland's Great Hunger Museum. The museum holds the largest collection of Famine Art, focused on Ireland's famine years from 1845-1852. The project was the recipient of the Connecticut Building Congress's (CBC) 2014 Project Teams Award in the small (construction cost under $10M) projects category.
