​The Minneapolis Research and Development Center is Cargill's North American hub for its global network of food and ingredient research. The efficiency of Cargill's Research and Development area improved with the consolidation of three different labs, spread between four different buildings, into one central location. The Center features molecular biology labs, advanced analytical and materials research labs, test kitchens and a pilot production plant.
