Nash Finch Refrigerated Distribution Center Infill Renovation
This food distributor kept up with increasing demand for fresh and frozen food by demolishing dry storage space and infilling with refrigerated space. With a land locked site and less than ideal clear heights in existing dry storage space, the choice was made to convert approximately 100,000 square feet within the existing foot print. The infill was surrounded on three sides by existing building. Careful considerations were made to allow state of the art thermal barriers and operating efficiencies tying into the surrounding building functions.
