Management Education Center
Minneapolis College (MCTC), Minneapolis, Minnesota First constructed in 1927 and known as “Old Harmon”, with an addition known as “New Harmon” in 1976, the building holds historical significance and therefore the renovations were required to follow local preservation and design guidelines and standards. After renovating 57,000 sq ft on floors 1, 2 and 4 and completing a partial remodel of 3rd floor, the building is now home to both the Minneapolis College and Metropolitan State University business schools. New spaces include Hi-Flex classrooms, computer labs, study areas and floating breakout rooms geared toward team-based, hands-on learning. Co-locating faculty offices and business classes eases connections for students and staff. Budget $22,000,000 Square Footage 57,000 sf |
