Leo C. Byrne Residence Renovation
Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, St. Paul, Minnesota The Leo C. Byrne Residence is an apartment community for retired Catholic priests. It had not received its first significant update since it was built in 1995. The project required phasing and coordination to minimize disturbance to the residents. Exterior renovation consisted of reframing exterior walls, installing new exterior finishes and windows, and roof replacement. Interior scope included renovation of the on-site chapel, laundry, kitchen and dining facilities, adding an accessible restroom and refreshing interior finishes. In addition, heat pumps within the individual apartments were replaced, the elevator system was updated and EV charging stations were added. Budget $6,760,000 |
